Halloween proviene de la abreviatura de
All Hallows Eve. Estos términos proceden del inglés antiguo (Old English).
All Hallows
Eve es lo mismo que All Saints Eve, que significa: la víspera de todos los
santos.

The 31st of October, it’s Halloween,
Skeletons dance and ghost scream.
Spiders go up and down.
Witches are with their cats.
Broomsticks and pointed hats.
Bats fly all around.
And in the shadows, I can see
Jack o’ lanterns smiling at me.
